Join us for a night of serving, fun, and community as we pack Care Kits for those experiencing homelessness in our city.
Why We Serve
A Simple Step That Can Make a Big Impact

At Journey Church, our mission is to help people take their next step toward Jesus. The rhythms we’ve been building together are Finding Community and Growing in Faith.
On Sunday, August 10, we’re hosting a Serve Night where we’ll pack Care Kits filled with helpful essentials to bless those in need across downtown Nashville. After packing these kits we’ll split them up between one another so we can keep them in our cars, ready to give out whenever we see someone in need.
How It Works
Here’s the Plan

Pick an item (or a few) from the list below and bring them with you to Serve Night.

Join us at 5PM to assemble the Care Kits together.

Split the kits—everyone leaves with a few in hand to give out as you go throughout your week.

Celebrate with dinner + games afterward! We’ll cater food and set up games for a night of community and connection.

We Pack, Then We Play! 🎉
After we finish packing, stick around for a catered dinner (Zaxby's) and some fun! We’ll have outdoor games, music, and space to hang out, meet new people, and enjoy the evening together. It’s a perfect next step if you’ve been looking to find community and get involved at Journey Church.
