Care Kits

As we continue our journey through the book of James, we are reminded that genuine faith is a Faith That Works. James challenges us not just to hear the Word of God, but to live it out by loving others, serving people, and meeting needs around us. On Sunday, June 28th, we’re putting our faith into action by coming together to pack Care Kits for those experiencing homelessness or going through difficult seasons in our city.

During this special night, we will pack Care Kits filled with practical items that can be shared with those in need throughout Nashville. Each person will have the opportunity to take multiple kits home with them to keep in their car, bring to work, or give to someone they meet who could use encouragement and support. Our hope is that these kits become more than just a bag of supplies, they become an opportunity to show people the love of Jesus in a tangible way.

After we pack Care Kits, we’ll enjoy a catered dinner together as a church family. This will be a great opportunity to slow down, connect with others, make new friends, and continue building the kind of community we see throughout Scripture. Whether you’ve been part of Journey Church for a while or this is your first time, we would love for you to join us for this meaningful night.
